This past Saturday afternoon, former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko posted a video updating everyone on the status of Kenyan boxing icon Conjestina Achieng.
The controversial politician claims that Conjestina, who is currently staying at the Mombasa women’s rehab, is doing well.
Now a close friend of President-elect William Ruto, Sonko has said that the boxer would be released from the hospital next week.
After weeks of Conjestina’s heartbreaking photo becoming popular online, the country of Kenya is still discussing the situation.
“We bid you farewell, Kazi iendelee. Conjee is alive and well and thriving at the Mombasa women’s rehabilitation center. She is scheduled for release early next week.” The content of Sonko’s message.
Now, most Kenyans are impressed by Conjestina’s condition, but some are not impressed at all.
