
For the second day in a row, the Milimani Law Courts have heard arguments in the presidential petition brought by Raila Odinga, leader of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance, and his running mate, Martha Karua.
Supreme Court Justices attended the morning hearing at the Milimani Law Courts to hear arguments from Senior Counsel James Orengo and the Azimio La Umoja Attorneys. The proceedings took place in the Milimani Law Courts.

Raila Odinga’s lawyer is Senior Counsel James Orengo, who is also the new governor of Siaya County for the Orange Democratic Movement party. Orengo is now defending Odinga in the petition.

Attorney Zehrabanu Janmohamed and Senior Counsel Philip Murgor testified against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s methodology. Each one of them made a commendable effort.
It has been reported that many people in Kisumu City, the county seat of Kisumu County, are currently glued to the Supreme Court hearings. The city of Kisumu enlightened us to these rumors.
