The 2022 F1 Grand Prix season continued and this time it was in Imola Italy home ground to Ferrari.

Despite being on home soil Team Ferrari failed to impress their fans by not getting even in top five. Carlos Sainz was tipped off to the ground by Daniel Riccardo in the opening lap thus out of the race.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull who started on pole position dominated the race from the start and won it with ease over team mate Sergio Perez.
Charles Lerlec of Ferrari who was in position three chasing the Red Bulls run and hit the wall in the 54th lap and that led to him dropping to ninth after having to change the tiers. He later recovered and finished sixth.
The poor start of the season for Lewis Hamilton continued as he finished in position 13 behind his counter part George Russell who finished fourth.
By the end of the race Verstappen and Perez of Red Bull took positions one and two while Lando Norris of McLaren took the final podium position.
After the Imola GP Charles Lerlec is still leading the drivers chat with 85 points followed by Verstappen and Perez on 59 and 54 points respectively.
The companies chat is topped by Ferrari with124 points 11 points ahead of Red Bull. Mercedes comes third.
