‘If I was a naked performer, all of you would know the shape of my pumpum”. Care free musician Kapa Kat responds to critics
Fast rising dance hall queen Tumusiime Catherine, popularly known as Kapa Cat, has come under heavy criticism for her explicit sense of style.
At the recently well attended Galaxy FM concert in Munyonyo Jahazi Pier, Kapa Cat faced a number of budding questions on why she had come &
performed in an outfit that exposed half of her bums in public.
In response, Kapa had explained that she is a performer and therefore, has to do anything humanly possible to make sure her crowd is not bored.
“The dress code is inspired by my need to entertain the fans. Am a performer and I have to do anything to make sure my people are not bored.
The other reason could be that I was just hungry to perform for my people as we have been in lock down for 2 years.”
While being hosted on Galaxy FM’s morning Saga show today morning, the same question was put to Kapa Cat and this time
around, she seemed to distance herself from being a naughty performer.
“I don’t know why people see me as a naughty performer. I keep on getting the same questions on why I perform naked.
If I was a naked performer, all of you would know the shape of my pumpum,” a seemingly angry Kapa Cat said.
