Ashura Michael a common village lady born in Homa Bay county is among the few ladies who have managed to show much interest in great future ahead.
Despite different types of challenges that ladies have always been going through Ashura has been able to rise and make it earning her place to the high table.
Records have it that she lost her hearing ability back when she was only four months old after she had contracted measles.
But she was taken to join Kuja Primary school foe the deaf which is located in Rongo sub-county so as to continue with her education to achieve her dreams in life amidst being disable.
She successfully finished her education and later did a diploma in law and is currently studying for her law degree which will make her more better.
In the year 2015 she made her political debut joining ODM party through the Jitokeze na ID program where by that time Ababu Namwamba was pushing youths to be registered as voters.
And eversince she has always been a member of ODM since then up-to-date and is currently eyeing the Nairobi Senatorial Seat through the party.
Recently she has been making headlines after she offered herself to President Uhuru Kenyatta as a second upon meeting him during the BBI meeting at Bomas of Kenya.
She even boldly told Uhuru Kenyatta that she was interested in becoming his second wife and was eve. ready for everything that it takes to qualify for the same.
Saying more about the hilarious moment after she confessed her interests in Uhuru Kenyatta, Ashura notes that people only understood it’s literal meaning.
As according to her the statement meant something deeper that how people saw it as a joke though she was serious about it.
