Jimmy Wanjigi, while addressing a press conference, said that Mr. Odinga is in cohorts with President Uhuru Kenyatta and they want to stop his presidential bid by whatever means. He, however, asserted that he will not be cowered.
” Apparently, the national executive committee has illegally and unconstitutionally expunged my name from the list of delegates to the party national delegates congress this coming weekend. This was done in December 2021,” Wanjigi has added.
On the issue of owning Firearms illegally, Jimmy Wanjigi has said that the guns the Directorate of Criminal Investigation are alleging that he owns he is unaware of terming it a political witch hunt against his statehouse bid.
“The DCI ordered me to surrender 10 non-existence guns and 480 bullets. They have been maliciously violating my fundamental rights and freedom I will not surrender to this abuse of law enforcement agencies for political purposes,” Jimmy Wanjigi has said.
