Game ended Kenya 1-0 Morocco. Kenya won slightly with only 10 men and it was amazing game to watch.

Ryan Ogama scored the only goal of the game as CHAN 2024 co-hosts Kenya, with 10-men beat giants Morocco to edge close to reaching the quarter finals of the ongoing tournament at Kasarani.

The Tusker man got the goal in the 42nd minute beating his markers with skill before firing a low shot past the Moroccan custodian.

The Harambee Stars for the second consecutive match in the campaign got a red card with Chris Erambo sent off for a poor challenge at the death of halftime.

In the second half, it was all Morocco as they launched several attacks on the Harambee Stars goal but couldn’t break the backline and if they did, goalkeeper Bryan Omondi, named Man of the Match was available to thwart any dangers.

Despite so, Kenya had a few opportunities of their own and thought they had a won a penalty only to be overturned by a VAR check and instead awarded a free kick on the edge which the Morocco defence cleared on the line.

Sakari also fired at goal towards the end of the game only to be denied by the Atlas Lions custodian.

Kenya now leads group A with 7 points after three games while Morocco remains on 3 points.

Next in the group is a game between DR Congo and Angola at Nyayo stadium.
