King Charles is increasingly turning up the heat on his younger brother Prince Andrew

The King allegedly warned his brother that unless he moves out of the 30 room Royal Lodge for a much smaller Frogmore Cottage initially occupied by Harry and Meghan he will make life really cold and uncomfortable for him.
Details are now emerging that the King has officially instructed the Keeper of the Privy Purse to stop the £1million cash that goes into Andrew’s bank account every year.
The move comes three months after the King axed the ten-man strong private security team that was guarding Prince Andrew’s residence which is at the centre of the current stand off.
Ever since being implicated in the sex scandal, Prince Andrew had relied on private security paid for by the King after his £3 million police security funded by the taxpayers was withdrawn.
Prince Andrew’s 30-room Royal Lodge requires extensive repairs thought to be about £400,000 a year. The lease of the property also dictates that the external walls must be repainted every five years with two coats of paint , and internal redecoration is required every seven years beginning in 2010.
With Prince Andrew’s sources of income limited especially after the sex scandal, raising the required amount of money to maintain the property is proving to be an uphill task. The King on the other hand feels Andrew should move out if he can’t raise the money and should not expect to put another burden on the Royal budget which is financed by the taxpayers.
However there are other commentators who believe that the King is getting rid of his brother in order to save the Royal Lodge for his son Prince William.
