Former NTV news anchor Doreen Majala has revealed a surprising twist in her personal life by confirming her reunion with estranged husband Gideon Mulyungi, the current Member of Parliament for Mwingi Central.
The couple’s reconciliation was announced through Majala’s Instagram stories, featuring a heartwarming collage of them enjoying a meal at an undisclosed location.
In a public display of affection, MP Gideon Mulyungi embraced Doreen Majala in the shared photos, emphasizing their happiness together.
The Instagram post was accompanied by a caption that hinted at February being a special month for them, dubbing it their “anniversary month.”

Reports indicate that Majala had parted ways with Mulyungi in early 2018, citing allegations of domestic violence.
In a courageous revelation in 2020, the former NTV Swahili news anchor disclosed the challenges she faced when leaving him, highlighting the difficulty of starting anew with just a handbag.

Despite the legal proceedings, the outcomes of the case remain unclear, with the second hearing scheduled for April 22, 2019.
