In a recent conference held in Kikuyu, Kikuyu MP Hon. Kimani Ichungwa unleashed a verbal tirade against fellow politicians, shedding light on what he believes is a political alliance between two UDA leaders and the retired president, Uhuru Kenyatta.
Addressing the growing dissent within the UDA party, Ichungwa directed his first volley at Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria.
Accusing Kuria of being a pawn in a larger political game orchestrated by Uhuru Kenyatta, Ichungwa asserted that Kuria’s opposition to the administration was merely a result of manipulation by the former president.
Ichungwa predicted a bleak political future for Kuria, stating that despite the upcoming general elections, Kuria would struggle to secure any seats due to his historical tendency to vie for positions when no elections were at hand.
Turning his attention to Githunguri MP Hon. Gathoni Wamuchomba, Ichungwa did not mince words. He labeled her as an “imbecile” and urged her to refrain from spreading misinformation.
Specifically, Ichungwa addressed Wamuchomba’s allegations that he misappropriated funds in Kiambu County, asserting that such claims were baseless.
According to Ichungwa, Wamuchomba was misleading the public by suggesting that he had utilized all funds within his constituency without proper distribution among all constituencies in Kiambu County.
In a bold assertion, Ichungwa proclaimed that even the formidable figure of Uhuru Kenyatta could not intimidate him.
Recounting past attempts during Uhuru’s presidency to threaten him, Ichungwa declared that he remained unfazed, suggesting that the current efforts involving Kuria and Wamuchomba were orchestrated by the retired president himself.
“I can not be endangered by you; whatever you say cannot frighten me. Uhuru Kenyatta attempted to threaten me, but he saw dust, and I know he is the one using you, Moses Kuria and Wamuchomba,” Ichungwa declared defiantly.
