Pastor Kuria shared insights into the Christian life, challenging conventional views on alcohol consumption and shedding light on what he believes contributes to the untimely demise of some pastors.

Born again in Nakuru, Pastor Kuria emphasized his rejection of religious formalities, asserting that adherence to “religion gymnastics” isn’t mandated by the Bible.

Addressing the topic of alcohol, Pastor Kuria boldly expressed his belief that there is nothing inherently wrong with consuming alcohol, as long as individuals are mindful of their actions thereafter.

He argued that the Bible permits the intake of alcohol, particularly for older individuals seeking solace from life’s challenges.

According to him, the issue lies not in the act itself but in the consequences of irresponsible behavior following alcohol consumption.

Pastor Kuria took a stand on the biblical practice of giving, challenging the traditional notion of directing tithes solely to the poor and lame.

Instead, he suggested taking tithes to the house of God and instructing the less fortunate to seek assistance at the church.

He criticized pastors who, in his opinion, misappropriate these funds for personal use, leading to shameful deaths. According to him, sharing with the less fortunate is a responsibility often neglected by pastors.

In the interview, Pastor Kuria underscored the dangers of yielding to youthful and women’s desires, portraying them as significant pitfalls that should be avoided in the Christian journey.

Contrary to the popular belief that tithing guarantees wealth, he argued that it does not make anyone rich.

Instead, he asserted that true prosperity comes from a culture of giving, citing the example of those who generously share with others, likening them to the abundance seen in the lives of drunkards.

Furthermore, Pastor Kuria condemned the practice of pastors demanding money for deliverance, deeming it contrary to biblical principles.

He urged believers to rely solely on Jesus for deliverance, emphasizing that monetary transactions for spiritual services are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible.

Pastor Kuria’s unconventional views on alcohol, giving, and spiritual deliverance challenge established norms within the Christian community.

His emphasis on aligning actions with biblical principles, rather than religious traditions, sparks a thought-provoking conversation about the interpretation of scriptures and the role of pastors in society.
