Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua says that Azimio One Kenya One Kenya leaders who have organized protest will meet his team on Friday.
Speaking during a meeting in Kericho, the DP said police will be present at Kamukunji to protect Kenyans.
He said that if the demonstration turn violent, police will stop it and order Azimio team to go home.
Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance are preparing for a mega demos tomorrow across the country over the Finance Act 2023 which they argue has punitive taxation measures.
They will be demonstrating when the head of state President William Ruto is out of the country. Ruto is currently in Comoros and is also set to visit the Democratic Republic of Congo.
