A bank account belonging to a city hall officer who makes twenty-one thousand Kenyan shillings per month was frozen by the Kenyan Court of Law a few hours ago. The man reportedly has 637 million Kenyan shillings in his bank account while earning such a modest salary.
The individual will reportedly be required to explain to a judge where he obtained such a large sum of money. As in the example of the university student who received 120 million Kenya shillings from her German boyfriend, this individual may be innocent and still lose all of this money to the government.

In Kenya, being poor means no one cares about you, but having a lot of money means the government is interested in how you spend your time. The truth is that money brings in a lot of phony worries and other problems.
