Mr. Nuru Okanga, a resident of the Azimio ghetto, has been given a priceless present by a fellow Raila supporter in the Mt. Kenya Region.
Okanga has been a staunch supporter of Azimio initiatives, and new developments have shown that he has been present at prominent Azimio gatherings. At opposition-sponsored gatherings, Okanga has also been heard speaking publicly.
Okanga was surprised to get an iPhone worth $1.5 million as a gift, according to a statement issued on the Azimio TV Facebook page that included an attached video.
The statement was reportedly made by famed Mt. Kenya Azimio fanatic Mike Makarina. In the video, Nuru initially appears stunned before accepting the honor.
He lauded Makarina as “the champion of Mt. Kenya,” among other titles of distinction. Since Okanagan does not have a place of his own, she pondered where he would put the pricey phone.
You’ve promised to give me an iPhone that’s worth over a million dollars as a present. I’m thrilled with this, but now I have to figure out where to put it. I’m homeless and living in a ghetto. Can the people of Kenya pull together to help me buy a home? Kenyans can hear Okanga pleading with them.
You are my hero from the slopes of Kenya, Mr. Makarina. From that vantage point, please assist us. The DP will be taken by surprise if we reveal our plans to him. We’re in this together for the long haul, brother Makarina, and I swear we’ll make things right in this country.
