This came to light after the former posted a brief video to Instagram in which she can be seen kneeling to serve the latter some meal that she had made and a glass of water as well.
Nadia Mukami claims that she has witnessed ladies in Uganda doing this everytime they greet a man or bring him food.

The Maombi singer claimed this about herself when she went to meet Arrow Bwoy’s family a few weeks ago.
Despite Nadia Mukami’s claims that she will experience “culture shock,” she made it clear in the post’s comments that she is making this sacrifice for Arrow Bwoy, the love of her life.

However, the ‘Jango Love’ singer thanked her for her acts and commented that her new bride price was higher.
“๐๐๐๐ aaaaah ahh shetani amepita @nadia_mukami dowry price imepanda sasa ๐” he wrote.
“When I went to @arrowbwoy’s shagz I saw in-laws from his side kneel down when greeting elders or when serving your husband, that was my culture shock ya Uganda…” she wrote in part.

As mentioned above the video left netizens talking, and below are some of their reactions.

Ugandan society
It’s true that Nadia Mukami did what she did in the video; this is part of the culture that has made Ugandan women so well-known for their warmth and modesty.
It has been reported that the Baganda people of Uganda have been doing this for centuries as a sign of respect and appreciation.
As a result, when a woman in Uganda greets a guy, she does it on her knees. When she feeds him, the same thing must occur.
A woman will wait on her knees until the male is finished washing his hands after being offered water.
However, the culture has always generated debate, and for decades now, many have voiced their opinions on the topic.
