The notion that Diamond Platnumz is the best singer in the region has been debunked by Eric Omondi.
When asked if the Wasafi boss was the best singer in the region, Eric said no during an interview with Plug TV.
The Kenyan comic said that artists like Iyani and Arrow Bwoy had superior singing skills to Diamond.
Eric went on to say that Diamond’s only success is due to his ability to perform well for an audience.
The only reason Diamond is ahead, he claimed, is because he knows how to stay in the game.
“Huwezi compare Sauti ya Diamond na Sauti ya Iyani. Diamond hamfikii Iyani bro. Zuchu hamguzi Nadia. Diamond hamfikii any vocalist in Kenya, hamfiki ata mmoja. Ila Diamond amelewa entertainment, amelewa showbiz ako mbele,” Eric Omondi said.
