Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has taken to social media to remind the public that his pockets are not as full as they once were.

We all know Sonko plays too much, but this is the third time he’s said it in less than three weeks.
He took to his official Twitter page and posted a video of himself getting a haircut. However, the environment appeared dingy. This is not the place you’d expect the flamboyant businessman to be.
He went ahead to caption the video, “leo nanyolewa kwa kinyozi ya 300/= Nitafuliza tu sahii. “
Only four days ago, the former Nairobi governor was online pleading with Kenya Airways to let him take a flight after their pilots went on strike.
“KQ management team, if the pilots continue with their strike I don’t mind kupiga masquad nipate kakitu,” started Mbuvi.

He went on to insist that he had experience flying planes by posting a video of himself in the cockpit, reassuring them that they should not be afraid or doubtful of his abilities.
“I have a very good experience, I can fly any of your airlines to any destination worldwide,” wrote the father of three.
Sonko went on to say that if they were interested, he would be willing to start his new job right away.
He then stated that he was ready to begin with local flights from Nairobi to Mombasa.
“Hebu nijaribu asubuhi na Nairobi-Mombasa or Nairobi-Kisumu,” the last part of Sonko’s job appeal to KQ read.
Two weeks ago, a Mombasa youth asked the politician’s father of three to buy them lunch, but the politician refused because he was broke. The enticing youth persisted, and Sonko was forced to take a fuliza loan of 22 thousand shillings to come through for them.
He said, “I’m broke, to be honest, you guys just stay put and you will see me fuliza. You are 108 people so I’m going to fuliza 22,000/= for you guys.”
Either way, we know if things do get bad he could always sell off say maybe his gold-plated toilet or one of those fancy cars his lastborn likes showing off at the family garage.
