David Moya is a Kenyan dancer who rose to fame after his unique dance moves. He is also a well known TikToker in the country. It should be noted that Moya usually surprises fans by his dances. Majorly, Moya usually uses Jovial ft Mario song called ‘Mi amor’ while performing his dances.
However, David Moya has break silence after he missed a chance in a nomination to become the best dancer of the year. Speaking to Mungai Eve at JKIA while he was arriving from Qatar, Moya claimed that he is the best dancer in the country despite missing nominations.
“For me, dancing is my profession and for me I think I am the best dancer of the year. Ata si in Kenya, I am the best dancer.” He stated.
He went on and revealed what might have happened that made him to lose the slot. To him, nominations usually comes by surprise.
“..Sometimes kwa nominations, I think most of the times najipatanga nimenominatiwa mahali na sijeambiwa. Ukinominate mtu unafaa umwambie.” He added.
He went on and recalled moments when he was ambushed by Pulse Awards that he had been nominated. This was a day before the nominations.
“I remember for the Pulse awards, I was actually invited in the last day, nikatumiwa DM nikaambiwa ‘you are supposed to come tomorrow’. Hizo nominations huwa inakupata na surprise juu unajua inafaa kua something Official.
However, David Moya showed love to all nominees who emerged the winner during the nomination. He congratulated them for their hardworking.
“I don’t know how it was done but I want to congratulate all those that won.” He stated.
When asked what would have happened if he had been informed about the nominations, Moya bragged claiming that he would have emerged the winner.
” Ningeibeba. Ningeibeba by the way.” He said.
