    YouTube is quickly becoming a ‘easy’ money-making outlet for many Kenyans, particularly those who can garner consistent numbers and viewers on the social media network.
    YouTube, being one of the most prominent video-content streaming platforms in the world, provides a platform for content creators of all levels to showcase their abilities and creativity, which pays them money.
    In this article, we are going to look at top 5 celebrities in Kenya that are earning good money from YouTube.
    1. Otile Brown
    Otile Brown became the first Kenyan singer to reach one million YouTube subscribers, a milestone that increased the artiste’s net worth. The average YouTuber with 1 million subscribers earns around Sh6 million per month.
    Currently, the ‘Baby love’ hit maker has 1.23 million subscribers.
    2. Sauti Sol
    Sauti Sol makes a lot of money through their YouTube channel, which has over 962,000 subscribers. As one of Kenya’s most popular music groups, their YouTube account is one of the highest-earning channels, with a plethora of video uploads. Sauti Sol makes about Sh4.5 million each month from their music-focused YouTube channel.
    3. Jalang’o
    Jalang’o recently became a politician and he became lucky as he was voted in as the member of parliament for Lang’ata Constituency.
    With over 582,000 YouTube subscribers, the comedian-turned-politician undoubtedly makes millions from his channel.
    Jalang’o previously stated that he earned Sh1.8 million on his YouTube channel and Sh3 million on Instagram.
    According to sources, the comedian at one point revealed that he earns around Sh4 million every month on YouTube.
    4. Mungai Eve
    Mungai Eve is one of the youngest YouTubers in Kenya. She is currently 22-year-old.
    At one point, The 22-year-old informed a local media that she earns Sh1.5 million on average per month and Sh700,000 on a ‘poor’ month.
    5. Njugush
    Njugush, a comedian whose real name is Timothy Kimani, currently has 600,000 YouTube subscribers.
    He earns almost Sh1 million each month from YouTube because to his entertaining skits. He also makes a lot of money through ads and endorsements.
