Drama in Kisumu as Woman Faints After Pastor Owuor’s Church Denies Predicting End of the World

There was drama in Kisumu after a woman fainted upon learning that Pastor David Owuor’s church had officially denied making a statement claiming the world would end on August 2nd.
According to neighbours, the woman had taken drastic measures in preparation for the alleged apocalypse. After hearing the rumour that Pastor Owuor had prophesied the end of the world, she gave away all her clothes to neighbours, donated three sacks of maize, two sacks of beans, and other foodstuffs from her store.
In a final act of preparation, she forgave all those who owed her money from her kiosk business and handed the kiosk over to the caretaker of the compound where she lived. She then packed three white garments and planned to relocate to one of the branches of Pastor Owuor’s church, ready for what she believed was the end times.
However, her plans came to an abrupt halt when a fellow congregant showed her an official letter from the church disowning the apocalyptic claims. Shocked and overwhelmed, the woman fainted on the spot, causing concern among onlookers.
She was later revived by neighbours and church members, though visibly shaken by the turn of events.
