    Dear Pastor Dorcas Rigathi,

Mindful Kenya, a mental health advocacy organization, is writing to you today to request your support for regular and affordable mental health screenings for Kenya’s frontline heroes, including healthcare workers and police officers.

These brave individuals face immense emotional and physical challenges as they protect our nation.

However, their mental well-being is often neglected, putting them at significant risk of mental trauma.

Mindful Kenya has developed a system for affordable and accessible mental health screenings, costing less than 100 shillings per month.

Early detection of mental health challenges can prevent minor issues from becoming debilitating conditions.

Additionally, mental well-being is intricately linked to physical health, so addressing one can positively impact the other.

Regular mental health screenings can also enhance productivity by helping individuals to function better at work.

Furthermore, they can reduce stigma by normalizing discussions around mental health.

We envision a Kenya where our protectors are mentally resilient and can serve without the burden of untreated trauma.

With your legacy of empowerment and care, you can help make this dream a reality.

We urge you to use your platform to advocate for regular and affordable mental health screenings for Kenya’s frontline heroes.

By doing so, you can help to ensure that these unsung heroes receive the mental health support they so desperately need.

In the words of Psalm 82:3, “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”

Our heroes, though strong in their service, need defense against the unseen battles of the mind. Join us in this noble endeavor. Let’s ensure a brighter, healthier future for our frontline heroes.

    Sincerely,

    Mindful Kenya
