Hon Moses Kuria, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Trade and Investments, took to Twitter on Tuesday night to make a tweet about his plans for Wednesday, giving many Kenyans more to think about.
Kuria said in his writing, “Ruciu ndurume yakwa ndurite nderete niguo ngamithinja,” a Kikuyu dialect phrase. A certain yes, or Na noguo ndamwirire. According to a translation of “Na Tondu nduteagwo utari mwatie ndigathinjwo Itare nduithie,”

“Tomorrow is the day that I get to kill the sheep that I have raised. Yes, that is what I said. I’ll see to it that it doesn’t get butchered unless it’s been circumcised first.
Kuria’s evasive comments over the previous few days have generated debate and confusion, particularly in light of the impending anti-government protests.
Meanwhile, ex-First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta’s security detail has been cut after President William Ruto was warned by Mutahi Ngunyi.
Ngunyi now claims that the Kenya Kwanza government has been targeting Uhuru Kenyatta’s family for political gain. This is because Professor Kindiki told Mama Ngina that there would be demonstrations tomorrow close to her Muthaiga home.
Ngunyi said that Ruto should quit being a coward because the thugs who would assault Ngina tomorrow might also go for Uhuru’s mother the next time.
He warned that if Ruto and President Ruto engaged in a fight while their mothers were present, the pattern may spread.
