Lawrence Njuguna, also known as DJ Fatxo, has spoken out immediately following his acquittal in the murder of Jeff Mwathi.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, he said he forgave anyone who spread rumors about him while investigations were underway.

The disc jockey gave his word that he’d go back to doing what he usually does in the music business.
“Our client will now resume his normal life and do what he does best, which is ensuring people shake their legs and he hopes that this challenge that has been surmounted will impact positively on any person who may find himself already judged even before his side of the story is heard,” said his attorney.
This comes after the mother of the late Jeff Mwathi expressed dissatisfaction with the work done by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
The verdict of the inquest into the death of fashion designer Jeff Mwathi, who tragically passed away in 2016, is still unknown.
