In light of recent debates over cults and churches, Neno Evangelism Center founder and pastor James Ng’ ang’ a has shared his thoughts. The Malindi cult leader Paul Mackenzie has been accused of brainwashing his followers and leading to the murders of more than eighty people, prompting this remark. The incident has been called a slaughter by President William Ruto.

Pastor Ng’ ang’ a maintains, despite the tragedy, that everyone should be allowed to worship wherever they chose. But he did concede that there are certain cults out there whose members say they follow Jesus. Even while some of these groups put on shows meant to mislead others, God’s might is ultimately unstoppable. The preacher proclaimed God to be merciful, loving, patient, and generous. Despite his reputation as a divisive religious leader, he insists that his personal life is open and honest.

People should know everything there is to know about him before attending his church, he says. He advocates thinking for oneself and not blindly following the herd. In order to establish a new church in the United States, Pastor Ng’ ang’ an is currently living there. Since his wife, Mercy Murugi, recently gave birth in the United States, he has decided to relocate the whole family there. Because ” white people usually bring Christianity to us,” he wants to be known as the one who revived the church in America and saved the lives of its members.
Recently, it was reported that Pastor Ng’ ang’ a, owner of the four-star Newstead Hotel (previously the Sunny Hill Hotel) on the Nakuru-Nairobi route, plans to sell the property. Several bids have been made for him, and talks are still ongoing. The pastor says he wants his legacy to be that God’s word was brought to Africa by a black man.
Pastor Ng’ ang’ a maintains that individuals should be allowed to worship wherever they feel most at ease, notwithstanding the current debate about cults and churches. He advocates for individuals to think for themselves rather than simply following the herd. The pastor’s ultimate objective is to create a church in America and save souls. He wants to be recognized as the one who brought God’s message to America and revitalized the Christian faith there.
