Recent events involving Good News International Church in Malindi Pastor Paul Mackenzie have cast a pall of suspicion over the Republic of Kenya.

This comes following the exhumation of scores of dead from shallow graves in Shakahola woodland, all of whom were believed to be his disciples. For the sake of meeting Jesus Christ, the preacher had sworn they would starve to death.

Even worse, Pastor Paul Mackenzie’s outspoken rebuke of President William Samoei Arap Ruto’s administration has raised more concerns than it has answered for Kenyans. Last week, when he was leaving the Malindi Law Courts, the pastor at the center of this controversy reportedly told reporters from NTV News that the government has no idea who or what it is battling.

“Mnachopigana nacho hamkijui. Na kitawaramba. Nimewaambia, kitawaramba.” These were the parting shot of Paul Mackenzie of the Good Life International Church, fired in grim warning as he left the Malindi Law Courts last week.” Tweeted by NTV News Kenya
