When someone uses their influence to persuade you to adopt their views for selfish reasons, like money or power, rather than religious ones. There are a lot of cult leaders in Kenya, with at least five different men making claims to be Jesus and one more recent claimant saying he was another apostle from the Bible. The administration and the State House under William Ruto’s wife’s control have become their personal church. Having religious services in the Kenyan government’s legislative building is an official policy.

William and Rachel Ruto have been hosting religious leaders for services at the State House. In these displays of unwavering devotion to God, the President and First Lady are commonly pictured lying on the ground or bowing.

The self-proclaimed Christ-like gods of the Luhya.

The founder of the Lost Israelites Ministries and a self-proclaimed god, Jehovah Wanyonyi came first. His ‘heavenly’ duties did not prevent him from presiding over 70 brides, most of whom were teenagers, from his headquarters in the village of Chemororoch in Uasin Gishu County. Jehovah Wanyonyi claimed to be able to treat a wide range of illnesses.

Second, there was Eliud Wekesa, who believes God appeared to him in his sleep and declared him to be the promised savior. The Lukhokwe villager from the Tongaren constituency in Bungoma County dropped out of school in eighth grade and is well known as “Yesu wa Tongaren” among his supporters.

Third, Yesu wa Tongaren has named his children after biblical figures like the Prophet Enock, the Archangel Michael, the Prophetess Miriam, and the Archangel Samson. The 12 followers he claims to have sat to his left during services and recorded his sermons so that he can use them to create a new bible after the apocalypse.

And number four: Nabii Yohana (V) has 107 offspring from his 39 spouses (three of them have passed away). Unlike the Holy Bible’s 66 books, his own creation, which he calls a “bible,” includes 93. He was born in 1942 and goes by the name Nabii Yohana (V), although his real name is Ronald Nakalila Wanyama.

The Muungano Church of the Holy Spirit for All Nations is where Nabii plans to unveil his new bible and 12 commandments on April 23.

Take a look at the phony, hypocritical photo up top, where the subject is shown praying while leaning over a camera. Public, hypocritical prayer is explicitly forbidden in the Bible, therefore they can’t pick and choose which parts of the Bible to follow.

Without a shadow of a doubt, you have provided these cults with fertile ground for expansion.

    What’s up, Samwel?

When it came time to accredit theologically trained pastors, Mama Ida once said, “mukamuita mchawi.”

Gravesite of Christian cult in Kenya yields more than 40 bodies

After hearing that cult members thought starvation would send them to heaven, police launched an investigation.

Kenyan police have unearthed scores of bodies from shallow graves in the country’s east as part of an investigation into members of a Christian cult who thought that if they starved to death, they would go to heaven.

On Sunday, media outlets reported that, according to official data, the total number of excavated bodies stood at 47.

“Today we have exhumed 26 more bodies, and this brings the total number of bodies from that place to 47,” said Charles Kamau, chief of criminal investigations in Malindi, eastern Kenya.

He said that they were still looking for cult members who had managed to escape, as some of them were still refusing food.

Exhumations began on Friday in a 325-hectare (800-acre) stretch of the forest at Shakahola, near Malindi in Kilifi county, after police commenced their operation after the discovery of the first bodies last week.

There are currently 61 bodies found, 3 survivors, and the cult leader who is in custody. Those who were rescued are now refusing to eat.
