David Muchoki Samuel By giving Mugithi music a contemporary edge, the artist commonly known as Samidoh has established himself as one of the legendary Kenyan musicians whose names will live on in the annals of music history. He is one of the people who, through diligence and perseverance, have risen rapidly to prominence.

Samidoh is a well-known kikuyu celebrity, yet he never forgets his roots and tries to lead an ordinary life like the rest of his countrymen in Kenya. Around 3 a.m., he posted a selfie of himself in a Kibanda hotel, apparently drinking Chapati Madondo, to mostly negative reviews.

Since his stomach lacks moisture, he must eat whenever he feels upset, thus he captioned the photo as “early morning” to account for the time he would have to wake up to prepare breakfast. Since he is a famous Kikuyu musician, many people commented on his post, praising his modesty for eating at such a humble establishment and with such humble fare.

Others chimed in to advise him to keep stuffing his face, saying it was for his own good. Your thoughts? Please join me in the comments section where we can discuss this further.
