This evening, prolific journalist Francis Gachuri said goodbye to his Royal Media Services (RMS) family and friends on Citizen TV’s News Gang broadcast.
Fellow Gang members Linus Kaikai and Yvonne Okwara and other coworkers were overwhelmed with a range of feelings as they praised the seasoned writer for the skill with which he had completed their jobs both at home and abroad.

Throughout their four years of working together, Gachuri and Okwara undoubtedly grew close. Obviously, their final show together would culminate in a big finale.
Traditional children’s song “By shot I love you baby” was performed by the duet. You’ll need to use both hands, a good voice, and a sharp mind to win.

Okwara extended her arm after the game like she was about to give someone a bear hug.But Gachuri just stood there staring at the camera, so all Okwara could do was stroke his shoulder and pretend not to care.
But the awkwardness of the situation was not lost on Kenyans.Several Kenyans, trying to make sense of the situation, speculated that Gachuri was simply overwhelmed, while others believed that he deliberately neglected her.

At the finale, all Yvonne wanted was a hug, but Gachuri, ever the proper Kikuyu gentleman, snatched it away from her. Best wishes, David Pengele wished Francis.
At the end of the song, the girl extended her arms for a farewell hug, but Mr. Gachuri avoided giving her one. You must be a very caring family man if that’s the case. I pray that God blesses you in all that you do.
As Nicholas Kibor put it, “Gashuri didn’t give anyone a final hug. Such a brusque farewell, to say the least.
Okwara then posted images she had taken with Gachuri, suggesting that he made up for their on-air snub.
Gachuri has decided to quit his position as Head of Communication at Citizen TV and Inooro TV (both under the RMS umbrella) after 16 years to take a position in the government to improve the Ministry of Interior’s shaky relationship with the media.
