Daddy Owen and Pritty Vishy have been trending for completely unrelated reasons this week. Pritty expressed interest in the Mbona hitmaker after Owen indicated that he was looking for a partner earlier in the week.
The content creator announced her intentions on social media, saying,
“Na sasa si mniambililie Daddy Owen niko single pia na bila filter mimi ni mweusi si mchocolate ata sijui mtu anaeza kuwa mchocolate aje. Pia napenda maobi sanaa. Ifikie Daddy Owen.”
Daddy Owen turned down Pritty Vishy’s advances, claiming she did not meet the criteria for the type of woman he was looking for.
Pritty Vishy’s chances of winning are slim, according to a statement Owen posted on Instagram. Regardless of the disqualification, we must admit that she was brave and bold in taking her shot.
In an interview with Ankali Ray on Milele Fm, Pritty stated that the qualities Daddy Owen seeks are impossible to find in a woman in Kenya. She sarcastically suggested that he try finding a woman in Uganda, where he might have better luck.
“Nilikua namtaka lakini sasa penye inaelekea ni kama itabidi avuke Uganda. He’s like a dictator. Sijui hataki dem ako TikTok, anataka dem anajua Kizungu mingi. Ikifika mahali ya TikTok na Kizungu mingi avuke tu Uganda. Hapa Kenya tuko TikTok na tunaongea Kizungu ya kilami. Ugandans ndio wako bushy,” she said.
Daddy Owen, on the other hand, stated in an interview with presenter Ali that he has received over a thousand DMs from women wanting to date him. Others have taken to the streets with placards pleading with the Vanity hitmaker to marry them.
Daddy Owen had previously stated that he was tired of living alone and wanted to marry a kienyeji lady. Owen had specified that the lady be dark-skinned, humble, and God-fearing in his specifications. He also stated that the woman should not be on social media.
