Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize both live in opulent villas worth millions of shillings in Dar es Salaam’s upscale Mbezi Beach neighborhood.

Up until 2019, when Harmonize left Diamond’s Wasafi record label and the two became rivals, the two singers were close friends.
Harmonize formally resigned in August 2019 after raising concerns about a 15-year contract he signed with Diamond’s record label.
After only four years, the singer chose to terminate the contract because he felt he was not being fairly compensated for his work.
The “Kwangwaru” hitmaker was compelled to provide Wasafi Ksh24 million as compensation for prematurely ending his contract before it had expired.
According to reports, Harmonize was forced to sell three houses and a plot of land in order to raise the Ksh24 million that Wasafi requested in exchange for leaving the label before his contract expired.

He was forced to pay the full amount in order for Diamond’s label to grant him full ownership of the songs he recorded while working for WCB (all of his songs at the time were recorded and produced by Wasafi).
Harmonize made more money after leaving Wasafi and even built a large villa on Mbezi Beach. The singer’s extravagant home is known as “Konde Village.”
Below are some photos of Harmonize’s mansion:

Diamond moved to a Ksh99 million/Tsh2 billion mega-mansion in Mbezi Beach in 2018. He had previously lived in Madale in a house he had built from scratch.
The Mbezi beach estate had been listed for sale a few months before Diamond moved in. The owner of the house, OG Lazaro, was asking Ksh99 million for it.
Diamond, according to reports, bought the house in 2018 and moved in. Among other amenities, the house has five ensuite bedrooms, a swimming pool, and a large parking lot.
