A look back at Bahati’s childhood

The musician, who is married to Diana Marua, has stated that he does not mind being called “Mtoto wa Diana” because his wife gives him a replacement for the love he never received from his own mother.

When I think back on it, Since my relationship with @Diana marua began I used to say to my girlfriend at the time, “I wish you could love me like my mother. This is due to my background as an orphan who spent their formative years in a children’s home and who desperately wanted a mother figure in her life. Everyone, regardless of age, longs for their mothers’ affection.
This female right here is still the closest thing I’ve had to a mother figure in my life, and so when “they” call me Mtoto wa Diana these days, he says he doesn’t mind.
