In Nairobi, a judge has issued an arrest warrant for Emmanuel Juma, a former managing editor of NTV Kenya. In addition to Edmond Nyabola and Mark Maasai, the well-known NtV managing editor was also named in the lawsuit.
In an investigation titled Sins Of Saviours that aired on NTV Kenya in 2019, the Commercial Court issued an urgent arrest warrant for the journalist on August 27 for alleged contempt of court.

His counterpart, Nyabola, has also been summoned to next week’s court hearing, scheduled for Friday, September 3, for sentence and mitigating purposes.
After airing an expose titled “Sins of Saviours” in 2019 against a court order prohibiting its broadcast, the Child Welfare Society of Kenya (CWSK) decided to file action.
Sins of the Saviours entailed corruption among the government agency responsible for the welfare of the country’s most at-risk youngsters. The documentary was meant to reveal the inner workings of the company.

The documentary’s stated goal was to shed light on the exploitation, abuse, and mistreatment of children for financial gain.
But the Child Welfare Society said it was embarrassing for them and the kids they help when they’re down on their luck.
Children, according to the society, were also traumatized by the trait. They also claimed it had far-reaching, harmful consequences that they are still battling now.
