Rumors That Uhuru Funded Ruto’s “HIV Treatment” in Turkey Turned Out to Be False.
There had been speculation that President Uhuru was paying for Deputy President Ruto’s HIV treatment in Turkey, but when additional details emerged, that claim was proven false.

It has been reported that Uhuru has been funding DP Ruto’s HIV treatment in Turkey. The newspaper claims to be the Star, but is actually a sensationalist tabloid. Defense Cabinet Secretary Eugen Wamalwa supposedly made this admission, and now it’s gone viral.
To the best of my knowledge, Uhuru has paid for all of Ruto’s HIV treatment in Wamalawi. A deceptive headline in the fake Star piece claims that the President of Kenya is footing the bill for DP Ruto’s medical treatment in Turkey because he has a “rare aggressive HIV strain.”

In response to the claims, The Star has released a public statement saying that Kenyans should not take them seriously and that the newspaper has never published anything with that title.
“Anything not discovered on our official channels is not legitimate. Simply visit our website to download the original, official copy.” There was an editorial published in The Star dismissing the sexual misconduct claims.
