Johnson Sakaja Arthur, a Kenyan government officer, was born on February 2, 1985. Due to a political move he made on August 8th, 2017, he now serves as a senator for Nairobi County. Before that, from 2013 onward, he served as a member of Parliament (the National Assembly). Similarly, the Chief Executive Officer of Arthur consulting is a donor and financial manager.

Up until 1998, Sakaja attended Aga Khan Nursery and Primary School. In 1999, he enrolled in Lenana School to pursue his supplemental education. During this time, his governance style became clear. His new roles include bad habit director for the Law Society and facilitator for the Board of Regents.

After failing to save enough money to enroll at Harvard, he instead attended the University of Nairobi (UoN). After completing his Actuarial Science degree at the University of Nairobi, he continued on with his life. As a senior in college, he founded the financial advisory firm Arthur John.

To date, Sakaja has amassed assets worth around $1.5 million. He is the Senator of Nairobi, a position that brings with it a desirable salary, and he also works as a financial manager, investing heavily in various businesses and initiatives.

Outside of politics, he has a great wife and two boys and a daughter. In late 2017, this family became publicized after attending a request day at both Nairobi Secondary and Lenana schools. A selection of their images is presented here.
