Moses Kuria, a member of Parliament from Gatundu South, has invited any female citizen who is interested to run for his deputy governorship in the approaching August elections.
Kuria, who has proclaimed his desire to run for Governor of Kiambu, is looking for a female running mate to assist him.

The legislator added in a statement released on Tuesday that any potential successor must meet the threshold for all of his qualifications.
“Moses Kuria is seeking to deploy his 15 years solid experience in banking locally and abroad and 9 years as a member of Parliament with proven delivery record to transform Kiambu County to the same status as the City-State of Singapore,” read a section of the statement.
“To deliver on this programme, Moses Kuria is looking for an aggressive, self-motivated, self-driven lady professional to take up the role of the Deputy Governor.”
The legislator goes on to describe his deputy’s qualifications as one of academic excellence and leadership experience.
“Masters’s Degree and a proven track record leading a complex organization with at least 10 years of work experience, five of which must be at the senior executive level.
The applicant must be a Kiambu County resident, according to the Chama Cha Kazi (CCM) party leader.
Any interested candidates must submit their resumes no later than March 18, 2022.
Kuria will compete in the Kimabu campaign against six other candidates: Kiambu Governor James Nyoro, Senator Kimani Wamatangi, Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, and Ferdinand Waititu.
Thika Town MP Patrick Wainaina and Mwende Gatabaki, the wife of economist David Ndii, are among the other candidates in the hotly contested election.
