Exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna will be brought back, according to Deputy President William Ruto.

DP Ruto told an international media outlet that if he wins the elections on August 9, he will ensure that Miguna jets return to the country.
After taking part in the contentious swearing-in of ODM leader Raila Odinga as the people’s president following the disputed 2017 elections, Miguna was deported from the nation in February 2018.
Miguna has made repeated attempts to return to Kenya since his deportation, but each time the Kenyan government has refused to lift the red alerts placed on him.
Miguna is a Kenyan citizen, according to Ruto, who has done nothing wrong to be expelled from the nation. He stated that once he takes power in August, he will ensure Miguna’s return to the country.
“I will bring him home at once. He is a Kenyan. He has not done anything wrong. If he has done anything, he should be brought home and face the law at home,” Ruto said.
Despite the fact that Ruto stated that it was not Kenya’s responsibility to shelter refugees, Miguna, a Kenyan citizen, has been banished.
In response to Ruto’s remark, Miguna thanked the DP for offering to assist him, but he urged him to go above and above in condemning the human rights violations he has faced.
“A good question, which William Samoei Ruto answered correctly. But he must go further: condemn human rights abuses, constitutional violations and disobedience of court orders,” he said.
