“Maisha London” is a fictional character. The price of Mfenesi in London has astonished Kenyans.
The jack fruit, also known as “Mfenesi” in Swahili, is a fruit that is mostly grown in India and exported to various nations across the world.

Can you imagine paying twenty thousand shillings for a single fruit in Kenya? Of course, people in London are buying it in much greater numbers for that price. A jackfruit (Mfenesi) costs that much, and people need them.
While some individuals in Kenya and Africa are suffering as a result of increased food prices, others are content to live in such conditions.
The price of jackfruit, also known as Mfenesi in London, surprised the world.
The fruit is sold for 160 Euros, which is equivalent to almost twenty-oneone thousand Kenyan shillings, according to a photo posted online by a BBC correspondent. Many people were shocked, and some dubbed it “Maisha London.”
Other countries, such as India, where the fruit is grown by a large number of farmers, disputed with this, tweeting that the fruit in their country may be picked up for free while walking along the roadside from their neighbour’s farm
