Linet Toto, the first female representative from Bomet County, was elected after a photo of her and well-known politician and activist Karen Nyamu from Nairobi went viral. Many people reacted angrily, with some warning Karen not to mislead Linet.
Karen is no stranger to online scandals; she and famed Mugithi musician Samidoh have previously fathered two children together, which has sparked widespread outrage among married couples.
Karen has been labeled a “home Wrecker” by an overwhelming majority of people.
