My Isimba: Wajackoyah Shows Off His Magnificent Village “State House” Nearing Completion
George Wajackoya, a former presidential contender, is nearly finished building a new home in his rural neighborhood.

Wajackoyah grew up in the community of Indangalaisa in the Matungu constituency of Kakamega county.
The politician-turned-scholar still hadn’t built a house in the rural area where he grew up, despite living comfortably in one of Nairobi’s poshest neighborhoods.

After two months of hard work, the house is nearly ready for occupancy. Wajackoyah has constructed the home on the land once belonging to his father, just next to the burial site.
