Controversial Kenyan lawyer and politician, Karen Nyamu, expressed her dissatisfaction with the recent efficient actions of the police in intercepting drug traffickers in the country.
Nyamu voiced her sentiments on her Instagram stories following a recent incident in Kisii County where DCI detectives successfully intercepted a Toyota Prado transporting drugs worth Kshs 11 million.

According to the official statement from the agency, the suspect, who was driving the vehicle, was en route to Kilgoris but encountered police officers on patrol.
Despite orders to stop, the driver attempted to flee, leading to a pursuit by the detectives.

The chase continued until the suspect reached the Magena area, where he made a U-turn toward Kenyenye. Realizing he was being pursued, he abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
This action allowed the detectives to seize the vehicle and confiscate 379 kilograms of cannabis (bhang) valued at approximately Kshs 11 million.

Karen Nyamu’s reaction to this news raised eyebrows as she commented on her Instagram stories, “Ay boys in blue safari hii mna’intercept sana. Sijapenda (Ay boys in blue, these days you are intercepting too many. I do not like it).”
The seized vehicle was subsequently taken to Kenyenye Police Station for further investigation

The successful interception of drug traffickers by the police has sparked both praise and criticism, with Nyamu being one of the critics.
