Mumias East constituency parliamentary candidate on the Defense Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa’ s DAP- K Party ticket, is currently Hospitalised After sustaining serous injuries from attacks allegedly by his opponents.
Taking to their social media pages, the Democratic Action party shared a picture of Kakamega County gubernatorial candidate on the Orange Democratic Movement party Fernandes Barasa visiting Peter Salasya in the hospital.
The party has condemned the act and has called on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to investigate the matter and take necessary action towards them.
” We condemn in the strongest terms the heinous act on our candidate Peter Kalerwa Salasya of Mumias East orchestrated by his competitors. We call upon security agencies, @IEBCKenya to move with speed and bring the perpetrators to books” The party posted on official Twitter handle.

Etale finished by saying that the DP stopped going to his office 4 years ago only to start his presidential campaigns.
