ODM Party leader Raila Odinga finally disclose his degree in welding: “Graduate Engineer”
After the UDA and Kenya Kwanza team leaders led by Deputy President William Ruto raised doubt about the genuineness of Raila Odinga’s academic credentials, his degree from the Otto von Guericke Technical University Magdeburg in Germany sonline.
Raila graduated from the institution in August 1969, according to the certificate, which was uploaded on social media by pro-Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party blogger Pauline Njoroge.
Previously to the 2013 General Election, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader was awarded a certificate as a graduate engineer, which was translated into English.
The degree, on the other hand, raised more questions than answers because it contained numerous anomalies, beginning with the awarding institution.
The degree expressed that it was granted by Otto von Guericke Technical University Magdeburg, which was established in the year 1993 in Germany.
Raila attended the Technical University of Magdeburg, which was merged with three other universities to establish the new university.
