jacob Obunga widely known as Otile Brown for his stage name Kenyan male artist singer songwriter, guitarist and actor. His breakthrough came after he released hit song “imaginary love” fearuring kaligraph Jones. In an interview otile affirmed that given opportunity he would legally change his name.
3. He started as a rapper before he became a singer. In an interview Otile said “Well, I started out rapping. I was a rapper at the coast and I loved alot, even more than singing.”
4. Lost his mother before he turned 13.
On his social media account Otile wrote “my mom died when I was about 13. I dont like talking about it but I don’t shy away from speaking about it because I know it could motivate someone ”

Brown narrated his ordeal when arrested by police where they could frogmatch infront of fellow students, something which he confirmed that he didn’t like.

“My mum also supported me in my music. I remember when I was small, I used to take some of my tapes for her to listen to and she would wonder how I knew so many things about love at such a young age. All in all, she was there to always support me and I really appreciate it.” Otile noted
