Kenyans at large will experience their first long holiday this year, this is because of the various activities which have been gazetted to be taking place during these five days from 29th Friday to 3rd Tuesday
Here is the break down of what will be happening
On 28th Thursday when many employees log out from their job, they will be expected to report back on 4th Wednesday the other month, having spend five days off.
On 29th government has gazzetted it to be a public holiday in the honour of late president kibaki whose funeral will be on the same day at Nyayo Standium in Nairobi
Sunday is a labour day, a day set annually for the celebration of achievement of workers globally. The day falling in Sunday, the day will be pushed on Monday which makes it a public day too.
Coincidentally on Tuesday is a day for Ramathan, the government has again set the day to be a holiday to help Muslim mark the end of their holy month.
