Since 1963 when Kenya gained independence, the country has had been headed by different presidents. Starting with the founding father of the Republic of Kenya the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta where gained the presidency through KANU party. The late president Moi who once served as vice presidents of Kenyatta, Kibaki and now his excellence Uhuru mwigai Kenyatta.
Among those four presidents Kibaki tops the list as the most successful presidents Kenyans have ever had. Here is a list of some of his achievements
1. Since his ascetion to the throne he helped Kenyans to see their potentials by encouraging them to belief in themselves and work, this very act helped Kenya as a country to make a substantive improvement in the economy sector especially the movement sector by introducing the traveling machines popularly known as “boda boda”
2. He introduced free primary education which helped more than one million children’s acquire education. This step has enabled Kenyans to acquire skills which has greatly helped Kenya greatly develop in all sectors of life economically, financially and socially
3. He is the only president in Kenyan history of presidents who stepped down to allow another president take over peacefully
And lastly
4. He is the only Kenyan presidents who called a press conference to announce that he is only married
