Kenyan artist Kelvin kioko formerly known for his gospel music such as mama song and machozi; publically announced his interest in politics by declaring to vie for Mathare parliamentary position through jubilee party. And luckily enough a few days ago Bahati was nominated and cleared to run for parliamentary seat in Mathare through jubilee party.
However his hope for being a member of parliament has been cut short where his nomination certificate had been recalled to pave way for another Azimio la Umoja candidate. This made the machozi hit maker to break down in tears while addressing the press conference. The former gospel artist however has publically declared that he won’t step down for any other candidate,
The machozi hit maker has defended his idea by saying that “Give the people of Mathare a chance to get the leader they have always wanted. These people of Mathare have suffered. I did not come to politics to get a job because I already had one. They deserve someone who understands them,”
