“As the sitting Mp of Starehe Constituency,I wouldn’t allow the UDA party to mislead my constituents in the name of negotiated democracy.
Even after sponsoring the campaigns of UDA in Nairobi County,I tried to roll the sleeves,hadi nikaitishwa 10m of which I had paid a half of it,the remaining amount was to be cleared after nominations.
I can remember at one point in a meeting at Karen,Ruto’s point man Farouk Kibet humiliated me on my academic dossiers!I have been under a frustration the moment I joined UDA,I regret leaving the President Uhuru Kenyatta to join Ruto’s camp!
I’m warning the party officials to award certificates to deserving aspirants who won the nominations fairly or risk a mass fallout in the party.
Certificate that has been awarded to Simon Mbugua is against the will of the people,and going forward I’m going to pursue legal avenues to bring back the glory of Starehe Constituency.
I must make it very clear that,UDA NEB and Mr.Ruto had shown the signs of downplaying me even before the nominations.This has really exposed the party feuds and weaknesses that must be shunned before general election.Finally,I must be on the ballot on 9th August 2022.
I see the mass exodus from UDA coming!”
