Those who spend a lot of time on social networking sites have undoubtedly come across Lynn Ngugi. She’s a video blogger whose insightful interviews have inspired countless people.

A few hours ago, she revealed that she would not be visiting her father in the hospital or at his funeral because of their strained relationship.

According to her, their father was a wonderful provider for his children, but he was a terrible husband and put their mother through hell.

When the father returned home intoxicated, he would beat his family and then chase them all outside into the snow.

They were living with their father in a single room dedicated to huruma when the mother finally gave up and left.

After the children moved out, their father stopped providing for them, and they were left to fend for themselves with their unstable mother’s income.

She left the country for college, but soon found that she couldn’t afford to continue her education, so she left school and began working in a hotel in the Gulf states.

Later, she and her sisters forgiven their father, and they were the ones who held his hands as he passed away.

Lynn stated that she was still so angry with him that she didn’t even go to his funeral.

She came to the conclusion that her only recollection of his father was the day he apologized to her and her siblings, and that she wished he had known better while he was mistreating them.
