Mother-in-law, starring the well-known actor Mzee Mwamba, airs on Citizen TV every Sunday at 7:30 pm, right after the Swahili news broadcast. His name, Mwamba, means “hard rock,” and among the family he plays that duty admirably.

Mamba was born and raised in the Marrison area of Nairobi County, which is part of the Bahati constituency. His real name is Peter Muriithi Maima.
Mwamba’s birth year of 1954 makes him 68 in 2022. There is a lack of publicly available information regarding his family background.

Mwamba attended Marison Primary School and then Dagoretti High School for his formal schooling. Even though he had been playing in school theatre festivals, he opted to pursue acting as a career after graduation.
Regarding his professional history Journey, Mwamba began acting in the 1980s while still in school; he was motivated to pursue acting after seeing one of his favorite actors, Mzee Ojwang, in a play. After meeting Mzee Ojwang, he became a member of his acting troupe and lived there for a long time.

In 2008, he became more well-known after appearing in the Mother-in-law series, on which he has since continued to work.
Mwamba is a family man despite his successful acting career. He has been married to the lovely Alice Wacuka, and they have been showered with numerous children and grandkids as a result of their union.
