Paul Ongili Owino, also known as Babu Owino, is a Kenyan politician who represents the Embakasi East Constituency in parliament. As the chairperson of the Nairobi University Students Organization, he gained media attention.
Babu Owino is a well-known politician and close ally of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Babu also has a sizable social media following.
Aside from politics and celebrity, Babu is a family man. Babu Owino’s wife and children are his two greatest achievements. Faith Muthoni Ongili, the legislator for Embakasi East, is his wife.
Faith has been the woman behind a successful man, from Babu’s position as a student chair at SONU, University of Nairobi, to his election as an MP in Nairobi County.
Babu and Fridah first met as University of Nairobi students. They’ve been together for ten years.
Fridah Muthoni attended Loreto Girls National School and graduated from Nairobi University with a second class upper division in economics.
The wonderful couple is the proud parents of two daughters. Babu Owino’s first child is a son born to his baby mama.
“In fact, God gave me the best wife, a woman without equal, a woman with a man’s head,” Babu Owino previously told Shaffie Weru.
Fridah has no plans to actively participate in politics, according to Babu Owino.
“She has a dream. I don’t want to compel her to do anything in life. I want her to be able to live her own life. I also want her to follow God’s calling on her life.”
“I’m not suggesting she become a politician. If she wants to run for office, that’s fine. She is fortunate to have the best teacher.” Babu Owino stated during a past interview.
Faridah is also a learned fellow. During am interview, she revealed what she had scored in her exams.
“I got 443 out of 500 marks then I joined Loreto Limuru where I scored an A-minus in my KCSE. I later joined the University of Nairobi where I pursued a Bachelor of Economics alongside an accounting (CPA) and a business management course,” she said.
